
London Underground services have sprung back to life after five days of travel chaos caused by the RMT strike.
All Tube lines were back in operation by 8.30am – ahead of schedule – although many were suffering severe delays, according to TfL.
The Docklands Light Railway is also back up and running after it was hit by a strike over a separate issue on Thursday.
It comes a day after London Underground invited union leaders to talks next week in a bid to resolve a dispute over pay and hours which led to the walkouts.

Disruption between Norwich and Ely expected until 17:15
There is a fault with the signalling system at Brandon, this is blocking the lines between Thetford and Ely. As a result of this, trains between Norwich and Ely and Stansted Airport may be cancelled, delayed or revised.
Disruption is expected until 17:15.
Network Rail engineers are attending the site to diagnose and resolve the issue.
DLR part suspended
No service between All Saints and Poplar.
There are also severe delays between All Saints and Stratford while TfL staff fix a signal failure at All Saints.
There is a good service on the rest of the line.
Major disruption between Kentish Town / Stevenage and London until the end of service
Damage to the overhead wires in the Finsbury Park area and a train striking a tree branch at Kentish Town mean that some lines between Kentish Town / Stevenage and London are blocked.
As a result of these issues, trains may be cancelled, delayed by up to 60 minutes or revised.
Major disruption is expected until the end of service.
Thameslink and Great Northern services are subject to major disruption via Finsbury Park.
It is likely that you will need to use an alternative route or wait much longer than usual for a train.
It is recommended that you leave at least an hour of extra time.
Minor delays on the Central line
Minor delays on the Central line due to train cancellations.
District line reporting severe delays
Severe delays are being reported between Parsons Green and Wimbledon while Network Rail fix a signal failure at Southfields.
There is a good service on the rest of the line.
London Underground tickets will be accepted on London buses and South West Trains.
Severe delays on the DLR
Severe delays between Canary Wharf and Stratford while TfL fix a signal failure at All Saints.
There is a good service on the rest of the line.
Delays on the A12
There are, on average, three to four minutes of additional travel time for buses and road users on Ardleigh Green Road, Gubbins Lane, Squirrels Heath Road and Gooshays Drive.
There are also, on average one to three minutes of additional travel time for buses and road users on North Street heading away from Romford.
There will be additional delays on the westbound A13 and M11 southbound during peak periods due to traffic seeking alternative routes.
Minor delays on the District, Piccadilly and Victoria lines
District: Minor delays between Parsons Green and Wimbledon while Network Rail fix a signal failure at Southfields. There is a good service on the rest of the line.
Piccadilly: Minor delays between Acton Town and Uxbridge due to an earlier faulty train. There is a good service on the rest of the line.
Victoria: Minor delays due to train cancellations.
Chancery Lane station closed
The station is closed due to unavailability of station staff.
Tickets are being accepted on London Buses.
Bakerloo line providing a good service
The Bakerloo line is now providing a good service.
